You haven’t had a vacation in paradise until you’ve experienced South Carolina vacations. This is the perfect place to go for time away from things and I give it an A+++. We return year after year because even when we do go somewhere else for a change, we regret not returning to South Carolina. There’s just something about the place that makes me fall in love with it all over again every time I go!
Besides being the Golf Capital of the World the area is also known for shagging, water and beach-related activities, miniature golf, fishing tournaments, dining and shopping. Did I mention the water, the beach, and the sun? On any South Carolina vacations you can kick back in your beach chair and do nothing if you want because it’s your vacation and you’re fully beachin’ it. When you’ve had enough sun you can check out the area restaurants, outside malls, and mega entertainment possibilities the area has to offer. I know you won’t be disappointed. I never am.
If you’ll be there over the 4th of July I’ll give you my plans. Myrtle Beach is having a Fourth of July Concert at the Memorial Stadium there. There will be music, food and fireworks among other stuff. The Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration is from 6-10 p.m. on July 4th at the pier at 13 North Ocean Blvd. And Barefoot Landing has events going on all day and into the night with fireworks over the lake at 10:15 p.m.
